Bledsoe's Fort Park is located off of Highway 25 in Castalian Springs, TN; between Gallatin & Highway 231. The Park is located on the North side of 25 (your left if you are heading East on 25, your left if you are headed West). The two most prominent roads on either side of the park are Hilton Lane to the East and Rock Springs Road to the West.
Directions:
From Nashville (2 Routes):
1) Take I-65 North to Vietnam Veterans Blvd./ TN-386 (Exit 95), Take 386 North until you get to Gallatin, turn slight right (at stop sign) onto Highway 25. Take Highway 25 through downtown Gallatin & out to Bledsoe's Fort Park.
2) Take I-40 East to Highway 231 North (Exit 238). Take Highway 231 North through Lebanon until you get to Highway 25, turn left and follow Highway 25 West until you get to the Park
From Knoxville:
Take I-40 West to Highway 231 North (Exit 238). Take Highway 231 North through Lebanon until you get to Highway 25, turn left and follow Highway 25 West until you get to the Park
From Louisville:
Take I=65 South until you get to Highway 31 W (KY Exit 2), Follow 31 W 2-1/2 miles then turn left onto Highway 109. Take 109 South through Portland until you get to Gallatin, TN. Turn left onto Highway 25 West. Take Highway 25 through downtown Gallatin & out to Bledsoe's Fort Park.
From Chattanooga:
Take I-24 East until you get to Highway 840 E (TN Exit 74B) take 840 North/East until you get to I-40 E (Exit 76A) follow it to Highway 231 (Exit 238). Take Highway 231 North through Lebanon until you get to Highway 25, turn left and follow Highway 25 West until you get to the Park
From Atlanta:
Take I-75 North to Chattanooga, then I-24 East until you get to Highway 840 E (TN Exit 74B) take 840 North/East until you get to I-40 E (Exit 76A) follow it to Highway 231 (Exit 238). Take Highway 231 North through Lebanon until you get to Highway 25, turn left and follow Highway 25 West until you get to the Park
The Sam Davis Home is located at 1399 Sam Davis Road, Smyrna, Tennessee. The town of Smyrna is located along the I-24 corridor between Nashville and Murfreesboro, closer to the latter.
* For those coming from the direction of Chattanooga or Nashville, take I-24, exit at Exit 66 (Sam Ridley Parkway), head east toward Smyrna, taking Hwy 266, then Hwy 102 to a right turn onto Sam Davis Road.
* For those coming by way of I-40 from the east (Knoxville) or I-65 from the south (Birmingham), you can use the new Hwy 840, taking Exit 61, which places you on Hwy 266/W. Jefferson Pike. Turn left on Hwy 102/Nissan Drive to Sam Davis Road.
* The site is a short distance down this road on the right and is marked by a large gated entrance.
